The FBINAA Charitable Foundation is seeking applicants for a Board position as the Section III Director.
This is a volunteer, unpaid, position on the FBINAA Charitable Foundation Board. Applications are being accepted until Friday, November 22nd at 5pm ET.
Section directors perform the following major duties for the Foundation:,
- Serving as a liaison between the Foundation and NAA members and Chapter officers, including international chapters, within their geographic region. This includes communicating about Foundation activities, dealing with requests for assistance, submitting articles for publication and promoting fundraising campaigns.
- Reporting and vetting requests for assistance within their respective section.
- Attending two events each year within their respective sections, beyond attendance at in-person board meetings. These may include section meetings, chapter training conferences and similar events. Directors are allocated an annual travel budget to attend outside events.
- Providing written articles, photos and the like to be published across the full range of communication channels.
- Participating in fundraising efforts for Foundation programs and campaigns.
- Overseeing Foundation ambassadors within their section.
Applicants for this position must provide a letter of interest outlining past philanthropic or community service work, background in fiscal management, fundraising experience and willingness to work on behalf of the Foundation. Also, explain how your background and experience will benefit the Foundation as well as include any other skills you have that will aid the Foundation in meeting its mission.
