The raffle raised more than $15,000 for the Foundation to carry on its important activities! Thanks to all who entered.
The Foundation had its additional raffle this year, with the prize being a CZ-USA Redhead Premier model shotgun, available with custom engraving. Tickets were sold before and during the IACP conference and the winner's name was drawn during the NAA reception in San Diego.
The winner is Mark Loveless, Session 265, of the California Highway Patrol. Congratulations, Mark!!

FBI NA Instructor Cory McGookin, and his daughter Halley, a high school sophomore (VA), have come up with a great idea and have created a Virtual Yellow Brick Run in honor of our brothers and sisters in law enforcement and to help raise funds for law enforcement charities.
The Virtual Yellow Brick Run depicts the National Academy's 6.1 mile obstacle course/run, and can take place anytime/anywhere between June 20 and July 20, 2016. This friendly competition between sessions will not only raise funds for good causes, but it will also bring session mates back together, have a little fun and promote a healthy lifestyle.

They have far exceeded last year's donation; this year at the Seattle conference, awash in kilts at the banquet, the company pledged $30,511.00 to the Charitable Foundation! Many thanks to Tom Davin and his excellent staff at 5.11 Tactical for their generosity, as well as the members of the NAA who have purchased - and even worn - tactical kilts!!
Based on our successes in 2014 and 2015, the Foundation board has decided to double the number of scholarships to be awarded.

No one entered the Fundraising Contest for the second Hawaii trip, so it will be offered on a new raffle for 2016. After that, an exciting new destination is in the works!!
Before the 2015 conference, Tim Braniff of the Washington Chapter arranged for the donation of a Bushmaster AR-15, again to be raffled.
